A deadly eruption is
predicted on the inhabited island of Monokoa. Daily Planet reporters
Clark and Lois accompany an expedition to study it, and of course
Lois is quickly in danger from lava. July 17, 1942.
While Clark and Lois are
reviewing a circus, "Gigantic" the gorilla escapes and
endangers Lois. In the resulting chaos, other dangerous animals
escape also. Is this a job for Superman? August 26, 1942.
American industry builds a
gigantic new bomber and Lois Lane stows away on the test flight;
little does she suspect, Japanese spies are aboard to hijack the
giant. Superman to the rescue? September 18, 1942.
"Friend turned foe" reads the
newspaper headline. But Lois Lane suspects there's more to the story
of Superman turning into a jewel thief and bank robber. And, of
course, Clark Kent, knows it can't be true. But someone is out there
committing crimes--and he's doing it dressed like Superman. October
Superman is responsible for
several acts of sabotage at the Yokohama Navy Yard in Japan. Lois
Lane is held hostage but Superman saves the day. Animation by William

After famed Egyptologist
Dr. Jordan is found dead at the foot of King Tut's sarcophagus with a
syringe by his side, his assistant Jane Hogan is charged with
poisoning him. But is it murder or the mummy's curse? February 19, 1943.
Lois Lane and an explorer
set out on an expedition through an underground cavern and discover a
race of hawk-men. When these creatures prepare a ritual sacrifice for
the adventurous pair, Superman comes to the rescue. June 18, 1943.
Clark Kent helps a pretty blonde Federal
agent escape a gang of Nazi saboteurs, and lets himself be captured
to learn their plans. The blonde, pursued again, falls into the gears
of a drawbridge. This is the only short that Lois Lane doesn't appear
in. The female federal agent looks identical to Lois (just with
blonde hair) and is also voiced by Joan Alexander. July
